For Girl Scouts of the USA’s 100th Anniversary feature on Good Morning America, I was tasked with identifying scouts and council activities that exemplified how the organization has evolved to keep pace with girls in the 21st century.  IMAGINE Your STEM Future was the perfect project, and Girl Scouts at Philadelphia’s Parkway Northwest High School for Peace and Social Justice were interviewed by Katie Couric.  The response to the segment was overwhelming, and provided great exposure for the initiative made possible by a $1 million ASPIRE contribution from AT&T.  IMAGINE Your STEM Future is designed to reach 6,000 young women and introduce them to a variety of career options in the science, technology, engineering and math fields.
